About this product
The Fabspeed Valvetronic Maxflo Exhaust System is the cat-back upgrade the C8 Corvette should have shipped with. It bolts straight onto any 2020+ C8 equipped with the factory NPP valved exhaust, keeps the plug-and-play valve function GM designed, and gives the LT2 V8 two genuinely different personalities: close the valves for restrained cruising through the neighborhood, open them for an aggressive American V8 rumble with a hint of exotic mid-engine tone from Fabspeed's X-pipe design.
Power
The factory NPP system chokes flow with the valves closed. On Fabspeed's DynoJet this system picked up peak gains of 4 whp / 6 lb-ft with valves open versus NPP-open — and 11.5 hp / 10 lb-ft (with curve gains up to 14 hp / 15 lb-ft) in valves-closed mode. It also drops about 20 lbs from the 76 lb factory system.

Note: if a Check Engine Light appears after installation, the AFM/NPP valves may need recalibration (GM document 5406413). Fabspeed recommends running in 8-cylinder mode.
